BELIEVING ON CHRIST!He that believeth on Christ shall never perish. "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:15-16.
He that believeth on Christ is not condemned. "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: But he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."John 3:17-18.
He that believeth is passed from death unto life. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24.
He that believeth on Christ shall never thirst. "I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall hath everlasting life." John 6:47.
He that believeth shall never die. "And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:26.
He that believeth shall not abide in darkness. "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness." John 12:46.
He that believeth on Christ as the Scripture hath said. "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37-38.
He that abideth in Christ bring forth much fruit. "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in the vine. I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing." John 15:4-5.
THE NEW BIRTH NECESSARY TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GODExcept a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3.
Except he be born of water and Spirit he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." John 3:5.
That which is born of Spirit is Spirit. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." John 3:6.
Yy must be born again. "Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again." John 3:7.
The mystery of the new birth. "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit." John 3:8.
CHRIST'S INVITATION TO WHOSOEVER WILLCome unto me and I will give you rest. "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28.
If any man thirst let him come. "If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37-38.
I am the door, if any man enter he shall be saved. "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:25-26.
I am the resurrection and the life. "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?" John 11:25-26.
If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelations 3:20.
Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is a thirst, Come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelations 13:2-3.
THOSE WHO WOULD BE SAVED MUST TURN FROM FALSE HOPESAll must repent or perish. "Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffer such things? I tell you, Nay; but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."Luke 13:2-3.
Those who rest in their own righteousness shall be abased. "I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted." Luke 18:14.
There is none good but God - one thing thou lackest. "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God....One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow me." Mark 10:18,21.
A trust in riches must be forsaken. "Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!" Mark 10:24.
Repent of lukewarmness or be rejected. "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth." Revelations 3:15-16.
Not those who say "Lord, Lord" but they who do the will of God are saved. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21.
Those who claim great works but do iniquity to be condemned. "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful words? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:22-23.
COUNT THE COST!
The strait gate and narrow way alone leads to life. "Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14.
God must come first before all else. "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26 (compare Matthew 10:37).
He who would follow Christ must bear his Cross. "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish." Luke 14:28-30.
Christ advises me to count the cost. "For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, saying this man began to build, and was not able to finish" Luke 14:28-30.
He that forsaketh not all cannot be Christ's disciple. "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:33. (Also read the Parable of King Going to War, Luke 14:31-33).
Christ replies to one who would follow Him. "The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head." Matthew 8:20.
The terrible cost of not serving Christ. "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26.
SALVATION REVEALED BY GODThe Father gives revelation only to the humble. "I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight." Matthew 11:25-16.
No man knoweth the father except the Son reveal Him. "All things are delivered unto me of my Father: And no man knoweth the Son, but the Father: Neither knoweth any man the Father, Save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him." Matthew 11:27.
The Messiahship of Jesus revealed by the Father. "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: For flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 16:17.
He that comes to Christ will not be cast out. "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."John 6:37.
No man can come to Christ except the Father draw him. "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: And I will raise him up at the last day. Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it where given unto him of my Father." John 6:44,65.
The impassable gulf between righteous and wicked after death. "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed; so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." Luke 16:26. (Also read Parable of Rich Man and Lazarus, Luke 16:19-31).
The coming of Christ shall mark destruction for the wicked. "And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." Luke 17:26-30.
BASIS ON WHICH THE LOST ARE JUDGED - REJECTED OF JESUS CHRIST!He that believeth not. "He that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16.
He bade many to come - and they all with one consent began to make excuse. "For I say unto you, that none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper." Luke 14:24 (Also read Parable of the Great Supper Feast, Luke 14-24 & Matthew 22: 2-13.)
A house built upon sand. "Every one that heareth these saying of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand; and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell; and great was the fall of it." Matthew 7:26-27. (Also read Luke 6:46-49).
He that rejecteth Him and receives not his words. "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." John 12:48.
Those who are blind by choice. "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin; but now ye say, we see; therefore your sin remaineth." John 9:41.
The disobedient servant beaten with many stripes. "And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes."Luke 12:47.
Condemnation is - that men loved darkness rather than light. "And this is the condemnation, that light is come in the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." John 3:19.
He that believeth not is condemned. "He that believeth on him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:18.
He that denieth Christ shall be denied. "But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God." Luke 12:9.
Words of Christ to judge unbelievers on last day. "If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not....the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." John 12:47-48.
Unbelievers shall be damned. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16.
