God's Sword of Truth - The Word
One of the biggest lies of Satan is: 'we should not judge'. He does not want the truth to be known and he does not want his religions ( false fronts of good), to be found out, nor does he want us to see the error in them, for he does not want to be challenged. Remember, he is the father of lies and he will never use truth.
Christians must judge. We are the Lord's judges. It is written in 1 Cor. 5:12, "For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? and again in 1 Cor. 6:1-5 - "Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? . We sit in judgement of the church, 1 Cor. 14:29
There are warnings in judging and we must be in a right state. Our walk must be in love and the beams must be taken out of our own eye. Our intent must be that of correcting in love when warning souls in sin. Then, if we are spiritual and righteous, we are judges - 1 Cor. 2:15 - "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.".
We judge sin, error, false teaching, all the things that are of Satan. We judge for correction and salvation in Christ and we judge in love. We are to be salt.
We are going to look at the word "Judge". What is it? How is it done? Who can do it? Let's take a look at Scripture and the truth of the Word will show us by the light within it. Keep an open heart.
Now keep in mind that many religions have a private interpretation of the Word and how it applies to life. In most cases it deals with the flesh and the world. Judgement is a spiritual word. It deals with the soul, not the flesh. If they apply it to the flesh or world they are of the devil.
Make no mistake! We will all be judged (our souls) before the Lord in heaven. "...for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ." - Romans 14:10. Make sure who you listen to, discern all things, look at the fruit of the person, and test the spirit.
Let us now look at the study as it is written by the Holy Spirit. He is the Author, I am only the tool, a witness for Him. It is He who taught me.
Did you know that we will judge angels? - (I Cor.6:3). Do you know what that means? We will look at what scripture tells us about who are judges and who can judge. The best judges are the ones who first judge themselves, then in love try to warn others.
